FAN VOTE OPENS TO ELECT THREE NEW MEMBERS

By The Everton Fan Advisory Board (19 June 2023)

The process to elect three new members to Everton’s Fan Advisory Board (FAB) has now progressed to the final stage. Any Evertonian who had a supporter number as of 1 May 2023 will be able to vote for up to three of the candidates, with each vote having equal weight.

The application window was open from 24 May until 11 Jun and this was followed by a shortlisting process.

The shortlisting process was carried out by a panel consisting of Ellen Loudon (Director of Social Justice and Cannon Chancellor at Diocese of Liverpool), Frank McKenna (local business leader), Jazz Bal (FAB Chair), Dave Kelly (FAB Vice-Chair) and Catherine Wright (EFC Director of Governance).

Following shortlisting, nine candidates were identified to progress to the fan vote; however, one of these has since withdrawn from the process. The remaining eight candidates are Julie Clarke, Rob Galkoff, Ryan Glover, Scott McAllister, Paul McMonnies, Paul Rigby, Nick Veitch and Kurtis Windrow. Their biographies can be read by selecting their name on the voting form, which can be accessed through this link.

The voting window is open now and will remain open until 11:59pm on Friday 30 June to elect:

  • One Evertonian who is a registered Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) member.
  • One Evertonian representing a group with a protected characteristic as defined in the Equality Act of 2010.
  • One Evertonian over 18 years old.

The results are expected to be announced in early July.
