FSA CONFIRM AND VERIFY FAN ADVISORY BOARD ELECTION RESULT

The two successful candidates in this year’s FAB election have been confirmed and the result verified by the Football Supporters Association (FSA).

Evertonians with a supporter number were asked to choose their preferred candidate from two categories, with each vote carrying equal weight. The two categories covered:

A Club Shareholder (to serve a three-year term)
An Evertonian who is a Football Supporters’ Association member (to serve a one-year term)

Voting closed on Sunday 30 June, and has been independently audited and verified by the Football Supporters Association. The two successful candidates are:

  Mark McKeown (Shareholder)
  Paul McMonnies (FSA)

Paul McMonnies returns to us for a second term , having first been elected in 2023. He led the voting in the FSA category, taking 50% of the votes, and will now serve a further one year term in the FSA position.

Mark McKeown will be a new face on the FAB, representing the wider Shareholder base after receiving 47.1% of the vote in his category, and we look forward to working with him.

Mark and Paul will join the Fan Advisory Board with immediate effect and be part of the groups next quarterly meeting with the Club, which will take place later this summer.

Our Chair, Dave Kelly, said: “I would like to commend all of the candidates who put themselves forward this year. Once again the standard of applications was extremely high and that has been evident by the calibre of candidates we have seen in this election.

“We look forward to welcoming Mark to the FAB and introducing him to the rest of the members. Paul has been a valuable member of the FAB for the past year and his re-election gives us a continuity as we head into the last season of Goodison Park and what could be an important era for the Club strategically.”
