The process to elect two new members to Everton’s Fan Advisory Board (FAB) for the 2024/25 season has been confirmed.
The application window is now open, and Evertonians (who had a supporter number as of 1 May 2024) have until 11:59pm (BST) on Friday 7 June to put themselves forward for nomination, supported by a proposer and seconder (both of who must also have had a supporter number as of 1 May 2024).
Due to the existing terms of current incumbents on the FAB, for the 2024 election, there are no vacant positions for supporters with no eligibility criteria other than having an Everton supporter number.
The FAB are therefore seeking two Evertonians who feel they can actively participate and contribute in the following positions:
Following the application period, a shortlisting panel comprising of an EFC representative and members of the current FAB, alongside Everton supporters Ellen Loudon (Director of Social Justice and Canon Chancellor at Diocese of Liverpool) and Andy Burnham (Greater Manchester Mayor) will review the nominations before deciding upon a final list of candidates.
An online supporter vote will then begin on Monday 17 June and run until 11.59pm (BST) on Sunday 30 June.

The 2023/24 season was a busy one for the Fan Advisory Board. In addition to ensuring that the voice of Evertonians was heard in both PSR hearings, the FAB focused on enhancing communication and engagement with the fanbase. This was achieved through an increased online presence via the FAB website and social media channels, and hosting virtual supporter meetings for Evertonians around the world, as well as offline initiatives such as FAB Drop-Ins at St Luke’s Church before home matches and additional in-person fan engagement sessions.
Besides their Everton work, the FAB has actively promoted awareness of the Football Governance Bill and the upcoming independent football regulator and has also engaged with other Fan Advisory Boards and similar fan groups to exchange knowledge and experiences, aiming to strengthen the collective voice of fans throughout the football pyramid and drive progress together.
This work will continue in the 2024/25 season, alongside seeking answers to important questions regarding the stewardship, operation, and future of Everton Football Club.
Dave Kelly, Chair of the FAB said: “Our football club is at a pivotal moment in its proud history. Time and again, Evertonians have rallied to speak up, advocate, and demand the very best. With significant issues like a change of ownership, a historic move to a new stadium, and ongoing debates about football reform, it is crucial that the voices of our supporters are heard at the highest levels.
I encourage Evertonians to consider applying to join the FAB and take an active role in ensuring that the interests and perspectives of our supporter base are integrated into the key strategic decisions ahead for our great club.”
